Pilot Testing
FRC pilot tests provides an excellent opportunity to deliver proof-of-concept that FRCs engineered solutions will successfully perform for your application. During testing we can gain real information on the way your plant’s wastewater reacts to treatment. You will get valuable insight on the level of effluent quality that will be achieved, get actual numbers for ongoing chemical costs, and see what volume of sludge is produced through the treatment process. That’s something that simply can not be achieved in design theory. FRC will design a custom solution for you based on the results of the pilot test.
Our Pilot Testing Capabilities
Large Pilot Fleet
The FRCs pilot fleet includes a comprehensive fleet of systems including the following:
- High Rate DAF & DGF
- Open Style DAF
- Flocculator
- Rotary Drum Screen
- Belt Filter Press
- CPI
- Aeration System
- Chemical Dosing System
Plug and Play
On engineers configure each FRC pilot system to be “plug-and-play” for ease of installation and start-up. After the pilot test, you can continue to rent the unit while a permanent system is designed and installed onsite. In certain cases, the system may even be available for purchase, providing an immediate solution to your situation.
Engineering Know-How and Support
FRC engineer services are highly recommended for on-site supervision during pilot testing due to their extensive application and process know-how.
Their services include:
- Pre-startup Installation Inspection
- Supervision of Commissioning and Start-up of System
- Operator Training for Pilot System
- Equipment Maintenance
- Operational Procedures
- System Operation
