Flocculator, High-Rate DAF

Projektbeschreibung

One of the largest vertically integrated protein companies in the world producing many iconic pork brands, wanted to replace their existing circular DAF units to accommodate the expansion of their pork slaughter and processing capacity. FRC designed a two DAF System to handle flow rates reaching up to 4,000 gpm prior to discharging to the existing anaerobic lagoon.

Die FRC-Lösung

  • Flocculator – Chemicals dosed to precipitate the colloidal solids

  • High Rate DAF – Float the precipitated solids, yielding clean effluent water
